During the AI Action Week, which brings together heads of state and government, scientists, representatives from the global public and private sectors, large companies, startups, and civil society in Paris from February 6 to 12, the Franco-Chilean Binational Center for Artificial Intelligence will be launched at the Embassy of Chile in France.
With the agreement signed on November 20, 2024, at the Palacio de La Moneda in Chile, between the Ministry of Science, Technology, Knowledge, and Innovation of Chile and Inria, in the presence of the President of Chile, Gabriel Boric, and the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, both institutions demonstrated their commitment to bilateral cooperation focused on responsible, transparent, and public interest-oriented artificial intelligence.
This pioneering global initiative, which fully aligns with the objectives of the AI Action Summit, will be officially launched during this global event on February 10, 2025, in Paris, at a gathering of the Franco-Chilean artificial intelligence ecosystem.
