Inria has around 40 research teams in the field of AI, with more than 100 researchers specializing in it. In the last 10 years, Inria and its researchers have published more than 400 scientific articles in Artificial Intelligence.

Inria is one of the world's references in the area of Artificial Intelligence. In France, Inria participated in the development and now coordinates the national strategy for AI. Inria Chile Inria was involved in the proposal for the development of AI in Chile with other public and private actors. The result of that collaborative work was a document called "Artificial Intelligence for Chile: The Urgency of Developing a Strategy."

Livre blanc IA

Inria's White Paper on AI is an introduction to the challenges posed by advances in AI research. Based on the contributions of 45 researchers, this reference text invites the reader to unravel the secrets of machine learning, to put some "robot phobia" back into perspective, and even to rethink transhumanism, etc.

Inria Chile participates in the proposal of Artificial Intelligence for Chile.

The proposed Artificial Intelligence Strategy for Chile was born from an initiative of the Senate's Future Challenges Committee, in which members of academia, business, and civil society participated.

In recognition of the crucial role played by Inria, in 2018, it was granted the status of coordinator of the research component of the French plan on artificial intelligence, AI for Humanity.

Green AI, towards an ecologically viable machine learning

At Inria, we are aware of the dilemma that artificial intelligence can help us reduce our carbon footprint, but at the same time, it also pollutes in its development
