Post-Doctoral Research Visit F/M on causal inference and explainable AI and its application to understanding climate change

Changed on 25/08/2021

Inria has artificial intelligence, machine learning and related topics as one of its five priority focuses. Recent results in these areas have created significant opportunities, but at the same time involve major challenges. Within this context, issues such as causality inference, explainability of AI models and ethical issues have gained central space. At Inria Chile we seek to develop these directions and, in turn, apply these principles in projects related to marine ecology, climate change mitigation, accident prevention, precision agriculture, mining, transportation, health, astronomy, among others.
